Are there any Beretta owners on this forum from Germany ?

I would like to meet some people over here or maybe in the Netherlands ?

Cheers ...

Hey Tomasz, there are some Europeans on this board and yesterday i added you to the Facebook group, which is only for European members.
You can see there are people from Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Switzerland and Austria(me). We are mostly around 6-12 people at the yearly Beretta meet, so we are a small group but its always great to meet!

Welcome here!

Howdy ya'll,

I just use this thread to say hello from Germany.

Last weekend I got a 1989's Beretta (Rat Style) to safe it and just wanna turn it back to original. I've no knowledge about the car.

But first I need some immediate help!

I drove it home last weekend, the engine runs. But one day later, I couldn't start it again. My dashboard panel shows low oil and low coolant. But I looked and both tanks are full enough. What can I do? Is there any reset button? I also changed the battery yesterday. No chance to start the car. What the heck is it?

By the way - if I get it running - I'm very interested in Beretta-Meetings in Europe (preferred Germany) ;)

take care - cheers - and every time good drive ! :D

but I looked in the tanks, there's enough fluid (water + oil) inside.

What's wrong?

Does the engine crank but no start or does the starter engage but the engine will not rotate?
If no to both, check starter and wiring.

the engine does nothing - no rotate anyway.

I just wondering about the low oil showed on the panel.

but I must say the right part of the dashboard panel (mileage, bordcomputer) dosen't work, I bet the lightbulb isn't working..

If the car is not running you will not have oil pressure... that is not a oil level gauge its a oil pressure gauge. The low coolant light is a dash test and lights up when you put the key on initially then goes off once it's running or if you just leave the key in the ignition position.

Just to make sure, If this is a manual transmission car, you need to fully press the clutch pedal before it cranks :)
