The car runs good, it does have some flaws, and most are shown in the pics.
It's clean as a wistle underneath with alot of undercoating still visible.
I'll get better pics of the underside when I get it in the air.
It needs a muffler, there is a hole in the top of it. It's LOUD! I'll record a video sometime soon before I replace it.
I kinda like the way it sounds haha.
It could use a drivers side strut, most likely will replce both.
The intake wistles in the higher RPM range, which is cool, but I'll either hit a yard to get a stock setup, or order one of those sexy styluss setups in the future.
So far I'm pleased with it, I drove it 75 miles on the highway at 70 mph and it felt great.
I think I got a hell of a deal, in some ways it's in better shape than the 96. Mostly the underbody

Looks nice. Still I just don't know why you would put the red car up for sale. Just don't like the color?

My cars are always for sale. No it's not the color, this is my first non-red Beretta. I love red ones.
My favorite colors for Berettas are (in order)... Black, Red, Quasar Blue, Aqua. All others are pretty much even for me. I could honestly care less what color they are though, it's all about the drive for me. I think they look good in any color.

Beretta looks great. Price was also good. I too would check what is under the driver side floor. Other than that very good looking. :good:

Last night as I was driving down my street avoiding potholes like I always do, both my abs light and brake lights came on at the same time. I had pedal, and they worked fine. I pulled into my spot, and went in to get a flashlight. Came out, and started looking under it to see if maybe a line busted or something, but all seemed fine. Popped the hood to look at the master cylinder and what not, and that all looked fine too. I started the car back up, and there were no lights on the dash. WEIRD! What could have caused this? I did jerk the wheel fairly hard to the right to avoid a pothole, and then the lights came on.

I once had the ABS come loose. Both lights came on too.

Check all your power connections, those lights will come on with a low voltage condition and if something is a bit loose somewhere you might have dropped voltage causing this to happen.

Also check the sensors and clean them.

I'm lookng to replace this crusty old muffler soon, is there a specific replacement for the Z26's? I'm mostly finding ones online that say base model. I want an OEM replacement, nothing loud and aftermarket.
