Long story short ......the cage did not get done due to the fabricator having some serious health issues an needing surgery.....im hoping for a speedy recovery for him and will look forward to taking the car back to him soon.....but in the meantime ..... Getting some much needed work going on the Beretta. Dual rear LS1 rear caliper setup going in. I gotta get some progress going in a major way If I'm gonna get this car on the road next year !!!

Super pumped to finally be making some progress on the front steering and suspension upgrades the Beretta/ Camaro..... Modded spindles/ knuckles by Jenson Keyes. Spohn Lower Tubular control arms, flaming River power steering rack. With custom made lines by Pirtek hydrolics, LS1 power stop brake kit.
Gonna smooth out some flanges on the engine cradle to ease the tires where they rub at full lock. But over all really happy with the new steering angle. Thanks also to Drew Meyer for his tech tips and the hook up on these driftmaro parts !!!

Jon - are you going to have to shorten or lengthen the driveshaft?

Going with an aluminum shaft?

I had a 3.5inch steel drive shaft custom made a while back.....it was made about 2 inches longer than the Camaro drive shaft .....there's a pic on page 26 of the new shaft...I test fit it ...but never actually installed it ....

That is most likely biggest steering angle ever in anything that even remotely looks like Beretta :)

Smoothed out some flanges on The engine cradle and welded em up to prevent the tire rubbing at full lock. And squeeze another degree out of the steering angle.

Modified the front brake hose bracket to accept the hose from the face instead of the top and was able to make these SJM performance braided steel brake hoses work from lock to lock.

Are the lower arms still powder coated?

I know its a drift car - but clean them up with some degreaser - the new calipers make them look terrible!

LOL...
