1/4 to 1/3 seems like a reasonable estimate. 1/4 to 7/20 just sounds weird.

I see.I didn't realize tuning was a potential issue. I imagine provisions for gauges make it alot easier as well

Well the rear end arrived today and...Wait for it.... it's a friggen Dana 60!!
They sent the wrong one to the wrong guy!

Right width, Detroit Locker, 35 spline, 3.73 Richmond Pro/Street series gear set.

Was suppose to be for a guy in Idaho building a Charger. WTF???

Now What? Fred wants to keep it, and I'm thinking about it BUT!

4 1/2" bolt pattern so the brakes have to be re-ordered. They haven't shipped yet.

Re-drilling the GTU wheels will be easier and will allow a little more room.

And it will NEVER break and it's worth about $700 more than the 12 Bolt.

Thoughts??

That would be EXPENSIVE!

And they are willing to let me have it at the price I paid for the 12 Bolt.

:o Like they have a lot of choice right now. It's here on a pallet and I own it.

Adapters? Not a chance in HELL!! Can't see the bolt pattern under GTU center caps!

It would be better to just get axle shafts made for 5x100 and re-drill the rotors, or use 2-piece rotors with 5x100 hats.

Cliff it is a complete assembly WITH axles. I'm not messing with them.

The rear wheels have to be widened anyway so re-drilling them all is not a big deal IMHO.

I just want to keep it consistent so a donut of one size will get it off the road.

But it is a little bigger project than I imagined even being around this sport for 45 years.

The Dana60 may end up being a deal for me, IF it will fit the floor. LOL!

Looks like it could be a good thing. are you keeping the stock front spindles? You should be able to run the brake upgrade with 03-07 V6 CTS hub bearings.
