I'm looking forward to seeing this in action. Someday I'd love to build a convertible Beretta (GTZ). That would be my Beretta dream. RWD Beretta though, that will scare the pants off anyone trying to race it; especially if it remains stock looking.

So much win! You are doing what a friend of mine has been telling me to do for years. My friend will be ecstatic that someone is finally doing it!
I think it's great that though the Beretta is fading away from existence there are still some die hards that are willing to make amazing modifications at all costs to make a dream come true.

Lots and lots of pictures is all I ask, I am glad this is actually going to happen and it will be done the right way!

Was at Smith's today.

This thing is going to be sweet!

And probably bankrupt me.

Fred loves this project, but it will likely never see a race track. Maybe a test and tune at B'Fest.

Just going thru all the details. Gear ratios, spring rates and we are having an "issue" about interior space.

8 point or 10 point and the back seat has to be useable!!

And it has to look 100% stock.

See what happens and you will all know.

The cage would look great wrapped in matching fabric to the interior...

I agree!! And I'm not in favor of it, but something has to hold the damn thing together.

When you get right down to it there isn't a lot of substance to these cars.

I like Cliff's idea, and the window tint will help.

It will be as minimalistic as possible.

I still want to see someone inject structural foam in the frame/rocker cavities of one of these cars. Mercedes has been doing it for years and it would give you invisible strength without as much added weight...and the weight would be lower in the chassis.
