Well damn it, better check mine. Pretty sure that I put the mount in the same place as the stock one. That MRZ looks to be the same as my Isaac Hayes mount.
Really it's not that bad, but I could feel every shake(piston slap) and miss do to the bad coil. The Eco shakes like crazy so that has kept me away from any solid mount. I'm sure the Quad shakes about as much as the Eco. Much more than the V6.

Damn dead brain! A=auto(which I have)
M=manual(which he has)
Long week.

The Ecotec has about as little vibration as you can get in a 4-cylinder. I had solid urethane mounts on the trans and engine of my Alero and it was only noticeable at idle. The Quad while good at having HP is almost the definition of NVH.

Got some work to do I guess, but this thing has never ran strong or well for something with 50k. Or even at 35k when it was bought.

In keeping with its name, the car's A/C decided to stop working during a run up the Dragon this morning. Worked fine going up, nothing but hot air coming back. Checked the fuse, it's OK - The compressor clutch never engages... Ugh.

Probably a relay or a pressure switch.

If the compressor is a remanufactured part, it's likely the culprit.

Paid over 450 for a remanufactured oem compressor supplied from rockauto and not even a week later the system lost enough refrigerant to not operate. Through diagnostic testing it showed the compressor at fault.

Returned that one for a NEW offshore unknown brand and same thing happened a few weeks after installation.

Slapped in a brand new oem part, been over a month in great reliable operation.

That sucks, I really hope it's just a relay or something simple - Just seems suspicious that it worked perfect one minute and then stopped totally the next (well, an hour apart).

You sure that it's charged? Sometimes they will turn on once and when stopped it won't come back on. Still that may mean that there is a leak.

Thought I'd throw up a couple pics that I'd posted a while ago on the Facebook page. A teaser shot of the new wheels... they're growing on me but I still might wind up painting them to take some of the shine out. The pic with both cars was taken when the wife and I drove the Dragon a few weeks back.

Well if that means that the tires are 14lbs or so then they are the same as z26 wheels. Really don't know what the weight of tires are. Never had time to check.
