Last Wash of the Year

Post by MAJ28 »

It went up to about 55º today, from the 30ºs we've had all weekend, so I got of my lazy....  anyway, here are the highlights, more here.

Gotta love the nighttime, garnet look:

Also, I got out the Stoner's Tarminator today, which is great stuff, though probably really bad for your clearcoat and I got off some drippage I had from fixing my front GFX (POR15, PorPatch is awesome), unfortunatelly I pushed EXTEMELY hard on it, so now I have to redo it, but here's the before and after:

While I'm on the subject of my car, what is the deal with this?  I'm assuming this just indicates it's an aftermarket  bumper, but it seems odd it would have a brand named branded on it.

Oh yeah, and I just uploaded some pics that I forgot to upload before, here.

I'm pretty sure that isn't how the car really looks in real life, so I'm going to assume that either your camera is a suck fest, or your photo taking skills are lacking
Its good to see that the thing moves atleast, or did you push it there  No no just playin, it looks good

Lucky PA'ers with no front plate law, glad you're back in action. You need some bulbs for your spoiler light. I think they're cheap at WalMart. I paid 32 for 4 at NAPA, so be prepared. That thing on the back bumper isn't a dealer thing? I can't read what it says in small writing, but I've seen used car lots put their stickers on cars that pass through their hands. Looks good for 10 year old paint.

What don't you like about it?  I'm using a 2 or 3 year old 2.1MP Sony Cybershot, I'm not sure the exact model, but it's similar to the P51.

I thought the pics turned out well, but remember, these (shown above) are scaled down from 1200x1600.

I woulda thought a dealer sticker too, but it's like engraved in there or branded in there - if it's from the dealer they went to a hell of a lot of trouble to get it on there.

You have way to much blue in the White Balance so it makes them obviously......bluish tint, makes the color more PINK, as where you close-up shots of the bumpers are a lot more of the "real" color

A quick "fix" as an example...

See how the greens look green, the reds look red, and the silvers look silver ÂÂÂ

and yeah, I know compressing and resizing the images doesn't help

What type of Camera do you suggest?  (Not that I could afford one right now.)
