Okay, lets try this again...

Shes up and running. Had a few issues with the initial start up, like a blown out fuel line from the donor vehicle, and a small throttle cable issue, but other than that, smoothly!

I did have the O2 sensor problem of hitting the rack, just like everyone else, but had to way to make-shift attach it till i got the car to my dads to get the downpipe made so i could relocate it. The car ran great, throttle response is greatly improved, prolly cause of that hug TB i have on there lol. After getting the downpipe made, i still have one major issue to deal with. I couldnt quite get the stock 3100 TB cable to reach the TB with the 3.5 DOHC throttle bracket. It wound up holding the butterfly open about 25%. So, to combat that, i have the stock 3100 cable bracket "modded to work temporarily until i can fab a bracket to work. The cruise cable i got from the Intrigue fits perfectly, but the 3100 TB cable is gonna need a new mount added to the 3.5 bracket to work properly. As of right now, i do no have the first 25% of pedal travel and my maximum throttle opening is roughly 50%. Once i get the 3.5 bracket modded, i can use it with the 3100 cable and call it a day.

I, also go the exhaust up and over the rear axle yesterday. Its not 100% finished yet, but im getting close. I just need to remove the temporary "tailpipes" and ad the extensions on. I got my Lumina Z34 tips separated from the stock piping and found out that they will work with the 2.5" pipe, even though stock Z34 pipe is 2 1/4". I'll get pics of those later, but prolly not till after they are installed.

2 1/2" downpipe with flex joint and O2 bung. It has a flange on the cat-side of it now too.

A pic of the clutch disc, just cause. Was a little worried about the coloring on the spring retainer plate, but found it normal. only 10k miles on it.

Exhaust up and over

I still need to do a little tucking on the piping and install another hanger on it. Its only held up by plummers tape under the tunnel, and the stock hanger in the back above the axle.

This "tailpipe" design is just until i can get the rest of the piping done. I made the y-pipe myself, i'll get better pics later.

And hi-res pics for the cause

Vids and such coming soon :) Its so much fun to drive! Just need to get a proper tune on it and i'll be happy as hell!

Love the length. Thought you went high dollar and got Taylor there for a second.

That's easy to understand. Been thinking about the cut to fit V8 MSD set. It costs less than the V6 set and it may be nice to have two extra. Summit has an "ok" price on them.

More of the exhaust work. This is the completed mid-pipe with cat and resonator.

Bolts to the axle-back, made it nice and easy to remove and assemble.

Image

Made a y-pipe (i know its not pretty on the outside), but it works. Have equal length pipes out the back.

Adding on the tail pipes.

Before leveling out the tailpipes

Cut out the passenger side and tucked the tips into the bumper cover.

The passenger side tip still needs to be cleaned and polished up. Im hoping to start that sometime this week and get the even in shinny factor.

Yeah i know. My dads welder isnt the best, but atleast its a gas-wire feed. I dont do a whole lot of welding so they start off decent and get crappy. It was hot as hell out and i was sweating like crazy, all in all, its leak free and works well. If i wanted to be a stickler, i could pull it out, grind em flat and have it pretty. But its under the car and.most people dont peer under the car for stuff...unless its cool. Its just the exhaust lol.
