I really love the GP GTP's too, but every one around me has rotted rockers! I'm sure you have the same problem in MN. Sucks. Berettas are hard as hell to find here too, and I have been in contact with that dealer with the Z26 in the link above and the car seems to be in real nice shape. These things don't really pop up every day, and I was suprised to see that nice Z26 listed in MN. I don't have the means to, but it would be great if someone in the community picked this up if it's worth it.

Ya my rockers are pretty much rotted. Ya i loved to buy that z26 if i had the money maybe in a few months. ya berettas are so hard to find it sucks. honestly wish i kept one of the ones i had. last beretta i saw in minnesota for sale was on craigslist was a 90 GTZ with a blown motor for 600. I'm in MN and have 2 GP's, a GPGT and a 97 GTP. No rust here, just stay on top of it.

I love the cars guys!!!

I really want a W-Body, preferably of the Pontiac variety. I'm even thinking of trading one for my K5 Jimmy, but I can't let go of a 31 year old truck with only surface rust in some small spots.

I also had a GP, mine was an SE though, '01 black on black. Nice enough car, it just didn't suit me quite right, and I didn't feel like going through the work to 5-speed swap it. I also had rusty rockers on mine, but clean everywhere else, what is the deal there with these cars? I welded in new rockers, didn't cost me much to do it, but I know I didn't get 100% of the rust out either, unfortunately. Made it solid enough not to worry about it for another decade or so though. Sold it to a guy who just wanted a reliable car for cruising down the highway to work for a couple of years -it fit the bill nicely for him. Congrats on the car, if you ever get tired of it, that engine is a beast in a Beretta! Good luck on your search.
