It's a T3 hot side and T4 compressor; at least that's what I've been told. I'll know more when it's in my hands.
Asylum wrote:Ok so now you just need to get a 3:73 gear set (I think I have one) and an LSD for that 3t40 and Amy won't complain about it's power anymore, LOL!!

Plus it will make it one HELL of a neat package!

Just think. The right UIM and a C&C sticker inside the trunk, and you may be able to actually BS this thing into a factory build to the great unwashed, LOL!!

Yeah I know... That will be the fun part... another $599 in a LSD... JOY :)

Indy's never had a C&C sticker but yeah I could add one... LOL and finding a 3.1 intercooled turbo intake would be nice to have but not necessary.

Were you planning on keeping the Indy an auto, or did Amy want to switch it to a 5spd?

I was going to keep it an auto since you have to follow a rainbow lately to find rebuild parts for the manuals.

If this was a factory build it almost certainly would have been an automatic.

And for a mainly street application an auto would be friendlier, no?

:)

I have a rebuild kit for the Getrag, and won't be needing it or the 5spd much longer (maybe after BFest?).

Just a thought.

Unless ALL of your other 5-speed stuff will be coming out of the Z for the 6 speed then I will still probably pass... I don't have access to any 5-speeds in any yards around me so getting parts is just a pain in the arse... Amy also doesn't like the cable driven shifter feel so I think she's fine with it staying an auto.

I'm guessing since I nabbed these manifolds you probably want $700 for that intake to get back at me huh :)

New Fuzzies for the windows!!!

These are Universal dew strips made from universal belt weather stripping... The best replacement other than finding a new original soft set hiding somewhere.

Restoration Specialties PN MR87X 96. Belt is $32 and they may or may not be able to deliver to your house... most recent order I have to get shipped to here at work. Not sure why.

I will get a better picture when the window is all back in... I will advise though... Do not attempt to tint a window when its horizontal... No matter how hard you try you end up with dust all over it since the surface is flat vs being vertical where nothing can fall on it after cleaning it. I did two windows last night and I'm disgusted with both... I will probably pull the tint off the original glass and re-do those with some more film but position them so they are vertical... Every Subaru I've done has come out better than this so I know it's gotta be from the technique.

that's very interesting and awesome that you're trying something new, I will have to look into this some time for when my uncracked ones start to eventually crack
