You may have already seen it on FB, but for those that don't use FB, I figured I'd post it here.
This past weekend, I flew up to Winnipeg, MB, Canada and picked up this 1993 GTZ. Another member found it on Kijiji.com at the first of June. I flew up, and drove it all the way back to Tennessee. I learned a lot about car importation during the process - When bringing a CA car to the US, you have to have some specific documentation just to get it over the border - There, they give you the paperwork you'll need to register it for the US and get a title. Pretty straight forward process, just takes some time.
Anyway - Here it is. It's got ~141,000kms on it (or ~88,000 miles) and runs great. It has NO rust at all. Interestingly enough, it spent all of its life in Canada, and spent the first 19 years of its life in St. Catharines, Ontario. Based on mileage and condition, it was most certainly stored during winters.
The car is quite rare due to the color/year. In 1993, there were only 621 Quad4 powered GTZs built. This car is one of only *50* 1993 Garnet GTZs made. I have never seen another Quad4 powered 93 Garnet to date.
Plans are just to keep her mostly stock - Fix some minor suspension and paint issues and keep it forever. I don't thnk this car, or my other 93 Quasar GTZ are going anywhere, ever.
