Picked this up for a steal yesterday. No rust, clean door jams and pinch welds. Interior is mostly intact aside from the driver door panel and headliner.

Has every option for 1990 including the digital cluster, which to my surprise, is all in working order.

I need to find some odds and ends for it, but it's an extremely solid car for being 24 years old, and I'm happy to have it.

Why do you consider it "Rescued"? It looks as though it was pretty damn well cared for.

And what do you consider a "steal"?

Do you have the valance for it or was that the missing item?

It was a craigslist buy from a trailer park for less than what rusty, shitty basic transportation costs. I'd consider that "saved", since the last owner was talking about how he wanted to put 20" wheels on it. Awesome... Ha.

I have $1k into it, but it's far from perfect, but I still think that's a steal, haha.

And yes, I'll be addressing the wheels as soon as I pick up new tires, because apparently bald cooper's are considered "racing slicks" in these parts, haha!

No I don't, but I've located one locally and intend to pick it up whenever I have time. Needs a driver door panel which I haven't found yet, and I have a mint headliner to put in to replace the hacked up one.

Hunting for the parts is half of the fun, lol. I picked this up as a second car to my 2011 Sentra Spec V, so I can work on either of them just a little at a time as I feel the need. Here's a pic of my other car (I can't imagine it will get much love here, haha) :



I had a white GT as my 2nd or 3rd car when I was 18, and when I first got it, I just HATED that car. Turns out some of the best times I ever remember from that age were in that car, so I've been looking for a clean one for a while now.

Like I said, I'm just happy to have it. [emoji1]

The Indy looks great and by the way I was just looking at a Sentra R(window shopping more or less). Same color, but a bit older. Starting thinking that my insurance would laugh at me!

Well I suppose that qualifies as a "steal"!

Well thank you! Yes, I have a salvage yard run planned in the near future, and a tip from a friend says that there is a yellow indy there with the body intact.

We shall see! [emoji3]

In the meantime, just need to put some elbow grease into it to see what I can get cleaned up in the interior. Fixed the radio wiring tonight, apparently wiring adapter harnesses are too expensive, and bare 12 V wires are the cool thing to have in your dash! Ha.

Wow, wouldn't know what to call that. Yeah that wire insulation just makes more ohms.

Thanks! I guess I have a thing for strange/rare cars. The Nissan is a bit of a oddball itself, not a whole lot of them out there.

Welcome to the "strange" part of life. Cool is not gone, but holds very little meaning. It's down to "I want this and I don't care what people think".
