Tell me how long it lasts. Most of the stuff used on my car didn't last long and the yellow came back. Just not as bad.

I usually just wet sand them out up to 1500 grit then clear acrylic over them, last a long time. Even in the obscene AZ weather.

What brand acrylic do you use? I don't like how the Rustoleum brand holds up...90GTZHO wrote:I usually just wet sand them out up to 1500 grit then clear acrylic over them, last a long time. Even in the obscene AZ weather.

Tiny update -
I decided to redo the foglights I picked up. They were more rough than I anticipated, so it was sort of necessary...
They're not perfect, but still a major improvement over what they were.

The best site to get them from is eBay, just search "clear Beretta side markers".pete812 wrote:Hi I wanted to ask you were did you get the clear side marker lights from? I want to get a set for car

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.
So I had forgotten that 3500 valves are a larger diameter than 3400 valves, Tyler went to put on my stock LS seals, and they're too small. New .553 seats and seals have been ordered, and Wot-Tech just got in more seats so hopefully next week they'll be in.
If all goes well, that's the only thing holding up getting the 3500 in the car.

It's not the valves that's different, it's the guides that differed and it wasn't just on the 3500. Late year 3400s had the larger stems that matches the 3500. And good luck with those seals... Gave me nothing but trouble, that's why I have modded stock seals/seats.

Yep, that's what I meant, lol. I'm hoping we can make these work. How did you modify the stock seals and seats, just in case we can't?

Well I have PAC springs so I just had to sand the center where the spring slips over it because they are slightly smaller ID than the stock ones. If your running the 986 comp springs you can just run stock seals.

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.
I'm using my yellow LS springs off of my 3400, and the stock 3500 seals wouldn't work. I'm sure they could be trimmed down to make work, but I really hope to avoid that!
