My 90 Indy updated pics

Post by Blacklit »

Been awhile since I've checked on the site. Been checkin back lately a little. Good to see it still alive in here. Most probably won't remember me, but I've been around for awhile in the beretta world. Never got the chance to post up the most recent pics of my Indy, so here they are. We're taken right before winter came. Car still looks the same, no additions. Soon I'll be swapping over to a GTU spoiler and tossing the touring wing that's on it now. It's a shop queen. Owned it since 2001, rebuilt it cuz it was in horrible shape. Never registered, tagged, or insured it yet. She runs great tho. 146k miles on the body and 98k on the motor. Enjoy!

Looks nice and clean, and I do like the hood and the mirrors, just not on an Indy, LOL!

And a dash swap?

Is that thing a clone?

Looks nice and clean.

Thanks! I expected to hear somethin about stuff that's been added/changed since it's an Indy. It was destroyed when I got it and originally planned to crush it after removing some parts, but rebuilt it instead. It's not a clone, it's the real deal.....just customized. I had a 94 parts car at some point, and that's where the interior swap came in. It's not just the dash, it's everything. Just kept the seats in it of course and overhead console. I just hated the 87-90 interior style. Hood scoop is from a 70's or 80's camaro z28. The mirrors are for a 92-95 civic, just had to fab a little to make them fit.

I noticed the 78-79 Z28 scoop. I don't think I've ever seen this car before. I'm guessing you cut a bubble out of the dash and recovered that part? Not a bad idea.

And all of the sudden I'm wanting to make Indy ground effects fit an 80 Z28. haha

No you don't!

Your car is going to be enough on it's own!

I'm not sure of my opinion of this "What's left of an Indy".

Nice save of a Beretta, but it's Indy value (whatever that may be) is severely compromised.

So it's a nice customized Beretta.

:good:
