What's wrong with the Black Beretta? Wasn't that the Isuzu swapped 5 speed?

Many things, just overall wear and tear has piled up into point where it would need a 'frame-off' restoration to make good again. And because I already have white GTZ to spend all available resources I want to.

I swapped the Isuzu to Getrag couple years later. :)

We hate to ask this since its totally out of our control to save, but hows the rust situation? And you gotta get that GTZ out and about more... Haven't heard about it for a while but yeah I know you've been building the house.

Black car had rot here and there, here are some examples:
- I redid the firewall like 8 years ago too to slow it down and replaced a part of it from donor car.
- Also sandblasted and repainted rear wheel wells like 2-3 times
- Had to weld patches to in front of rear tires last winter.
- Also there are small rust holes directly under lower door hinges.
- Upper rear spring mounts completely redone
- Shock towers inside sheet metal completely gone inside the trunk

So yes. It's bad. And also most likely lot better than most of the Berettas you can see people posting on FB Beretta groups.... :)

Overall, it would had been savable with significant work (frame off) But since there are Better samples out there..

I got the white car inspected and emission tested for this year, last time was 2011.
I have only driven 1 tank of gas this summer with it. It does have a ticking lifter issue that ate away my motivation, going to fix it next winter hopefully and try again summer 2017. It screams for new tires, the current ones are like hard plastic and no grip at all.

End of the road for W26. This is what got crushed, many parts sold off to help other cars continue and some stored for possible later use by someone else.

Before parting it out, I took a one final drive around the neighborhood with a tear on my eye from the years together, and finally a massive (one wheel) burnout at front of the garage before turning the keys one last time.

9 years as daily driver. Emotions.

It is so sad to part with an old ride but it is inevitable.
Your new ride looks real nice. I'm sure you'll feel fine
as time goes by. Selling my daughter's car, I felt a little sad.
So many memories of getting it for her and all the work I did
on it. It's been gone for a month and a half and I don't even think
about it anymore.
Are there any pics of your white car anywhere?

It sucked when I had to put down my 95Z, but I was excited to get the new car done. The GTZ has gotta be kinda like that too. Go rip around in it!

Few shots of the white car this year, I only drove handful of times this summer, going to give some love to it in this winter and hopefully drive much more next summer If I get the glitches sorted out. Also would love to get new tires since these have no grip left (that is tire smoke in the pictures btw)

Very nice! What does it say in front of the rear wheels? Is the hood scoop functional?
It looks nice even if it isn't.

It's an advertisement of my friends shop/fabrication service, Kajobaworks

Hood scoop is functional (opens to rear of the engine, on top of the headers)
