I sold my first beretta over ten years ago and i always told myself i would get another one someday. So a few months ago i picked up a 1990 GT. Not sure if anyone remembers my original beretta it was a 1988 GT with a diza body kit.

I made them myself. 20 gauge steel and a bead roller.

I am very impressed that you created your own floor panels from scratch and welded them in.

It looks like you over lapped the pieces of sheet metal and welded them in.

DId you put seam sealer on both sides?

Yes i over lapped the two pans the rest was butt welded. Were the over lapped i primed them with weld thru primer than seam sealed both sides.

Ah cool - this is the first documentation that I have ever seen of someone replacing floor pans due to rust.

I've seen the rotten door jamb replaced - but nothing of this extend.

Keep up the good work!

The car sat for a few years i believe. The jams were good and the driver side rockers were bad but not as bad as the pass side. I will keep this updated as i go.

A little update since last post. All the welding is done on the floors and rockers. I finished putting the canuck springs in and put the gtz wheels i got from "the mixer".
