I managed to acquire a '97 GTP coupe. Although I do love Beretta's dearly, this opportunity was too good to pass up. I figure maybe someone on here knows a thing or two about these engines and such, or maybe a direction on a forum that is good for GTP owners. I almost got a GTZ recently, but didn't end up with it.. meh, well anyways I can post a pic if anyone is interested (it's night would have to take them tomorrow).

Smaller pulley, headers, tune, etc - should make decent power.

97's had the 4T60E, and they weren't HD as the 4T65E-HD's that came in them from 98 on.
Slight differences in the SC (mainly on the Bypass-valve side IIRC).
I thought the 97's could be electrical problem prone, but I could be wrong.

tune at a minimum.
Any engine mod done should have a re-tune to accommodate it... kr will ruin your day.

So I cleaned up the GTP today.. It looks a lot better now.. I honestly bumped into some pics off of my motortopia account today and was heartbroken by the fact that my garnett GTZ is gone.. it's been so long but I truly loved that car and I may never find one within my reach again..
Anyways.. The GTP is doing okay and cleaned up quite well, so I figured I owed you guys an update so here are some more pics.. (below)
