I havent seen the floor pan of a Burrito in a long time.

Would you have to cut it and flatten it out like the floor pan a round your t56 in the Fbody?

I think the stock Beretta seats are already too high.. You won't have any room for helmet with those ;)

Good point - I will check helmet clearance.

To get them to Beretta height it won't take too much work. A BFH may even be enough just at the top of the converter hump for the rail to sit down another 1-1.5". The door side is fine. Pass seat will have all the clearance available in the world, but the driver side hump still has to clear the exhaust cutout. Interestingly enough though, the driver's Cobalt seat has a bottom cushion height adjustment where it can sink down a bit.

Jon, I still think this car will run a 13. Nobody thought my black one would hit 14s, either.

I wouldn't think a 3400 Car would run 13's,With under 200 WHP.....But who really knows.
Seats look awesome,i would never do leather because i don't have A/c in my Car.
Yeah i just had the seats out from my car,the seat tracks are very high up.

I could be wrong, it might just not have a 13 in it. But I think it will be close. It ran a 14.4 with a soft launch and 4th issues. If it won't do 13's I'll just have to frame my 11-sec slip with the Camaro. haha

My A/C isn't functional in the Beretta at the moment, but I don't have A/C in the Camaro either and it doesn't bother me. I'm hoping to get some work done on it during this break. Today is my last day at work until Wed the 2nd. I'm sure I'll get roped in to house renovations though. haha

Our bedroom is the last room with the old carpet, and I've wanted to build my own bed for a while. So it's kind of my own idea, too.

Spent a little time on it today. Blew yesterday cleaning up the garage and getting things organized. Got all the seats out because I have them sold. Delivering them next weekend to another Bnet member. Borrowed a junk Cobalt back seat from a local yard for mockup and looks like fabbing mounts won't be too tough. I also crawled under the car and got a look at the converter hump and there is plenty of room for massaging to bring the front seats down. Trunk is full of parts for the "to-do" list. haha

No I didn't I was somewhat interested in them seeing that some of my color scheme on my car is silver and black but my main interior color scheme is light blue and it's rare and I would like to keep it that way, Accompanied with the fact that it would be over a four hour Drive and I hate road trips ha ha. I would like to eventually find a light blue set of seats that would match mine since I put new light blue carpet, headliner, rear deck, and bubble free dash in..

How can a car guy hate road trips? haha

Bill O is taking them. He's not very active on here. I had no idea who he was. I'm hoping to meet up with a guy on CobaltSS.net on the way who has a leather back seat. The bottom seat fits really well, and the top seat has about an inch gap to the plastic inner rear panel. It's not visible unless you're looking at it straight on, but I'm gonna have to run a little bit of carpet to trim it out. I'm drilling out the spot welds on the Cobalt mounts from the local j/y to weld it in. I already got the pull cables for the rear seatback release.

Shane I got one at the huge yard in Binghamton, and the other one I got from Charlotte. Geoff picked it up for me and stored it until we got down there for the honeymoon.

I've also got Monte Carlo seatbelts, the Del-A-Lum bushings, Neon rear disk and a couple other little things to do.

I'm thinking about buying another black carpet, too. This one has holes in the floor for stock seats and the aftermarket seats I had in my 95. And the back seat on the Beretta mounts a little further forward than the Cobalt one, so it might be a bare spot since the cutout are already done.

Honestly you're probably right ha ha I've just never taken a road trip in the Beretta really because I've been working on it for so long and I never got the tune completely down like it is now thanks to Jon, i will probably take a bunch of them this upcoming summer. I was honestly debating getting leather SS seats as well because there has been a set on my Pittsburgh craigslist for a while now for only $100 I'm just not into all that fab work anymore because I've never had a garage to work in etc. I'm just curious to see how it works out for you Woody, And you'll love the rear disc brake swap I know I did

Got it worked out and Sunday I'll be delivering the Z seats to Bill and picking up the rear leather Cobalt seat from Mike on CobaltSS.net.

I found out the Monte seat belts don't hook to the Cobalt buckles that are integrated in the seats. They work for Beretta buckles though, if anyone wants them. They are not a direct swap but don't look difficult...it is all plug & play but the cartridge behind the rear body side interior panel. So I picked up a pair of black Cobalt front belts. Those little bastards are expensive! Apparently they are set to lock permanently in the event of a crash, so most salvage Cobalt belts are useless.

Been fighting with the rear disc a bit too, but I think I have that figured out so I can assemble it all this weekend. Tiffany picked up another job and will be working Saturdays, so I'll have more garage time! haha

Just bought a new carpet, too. They are leaving the back by the rear seat untrimmed, and I got the version without heater ducts, so it should fit tighter to the tunnel than the 95 carpet I have in it now.
