Yup, it's back up. Sweet! I worry about it because that site shits the bed pretty often...

Tweaked the lip a little bit to get the sides to line up better with some angle aluminum. That's like some high-tech Beretta "aero" with the lip and belly pan up front. haha

Also tried out a QuietflowSS for an Equinox. Inlet/outlet were right for my application once I cut the pipes off, but god damn it is huge! A lot bigger than the pic online looked. Unfortunately it does not fit... Length just barely fits, but the body is too wide and will not fit between the spare tire well and the shock. Rednecked it in there and it sounds good though, so I'll do a little digging to find one that fits better. They do look quite a bit more restrictive than my Dynomax.

What is your inlet/outlet size? I looked under a '95 Caddy ETC recently, and it had new mufflers on it. They looked a bit larger than the AP brand peice of crap that is on my car right now, but they sounded good. They looked very simalar in depth to the Equinox muffler pictured above. Here is a link to what I belive to be the same muffler I saw on the ETC. (x 2)

2.5"...I see the one you listed is 2". However the 2.5" in/out on this one as listed in summit is at the ends of the crush bent pipe...and it was necked down to 2.25 at the muffler itself. And I think 2.25 was the size Brad put on his car.

It is for aerodynamics, my friend! Actually, it is a replacement for all the stock plastics that were gone, and a support for the saggy lip on my old Z26 before I riveted in the steel reinforcement on this car. The under car aero is getting pretty common now in new cars thanks to the MPG laws for automakers. Even the wife's Cruze Eco has the aero and a lip...and it's 138hp. haha

Had a coworker take a video of the Quietflow from outside the car and the sound isn't as good as I thought. Can't find a good solution for one that will fit either. The only one I see is for a 95 Ford 7.3 diesel...but $100 is a lot to pay for some aluminized crap (no stainless available for that application.) Went back through some of my videos of the VT and it's not that bad. I guess I can deal with the little bit of crackle I get.

Here's the foam. haha

Dynomax is back on. It is 9.75" wide and about 10" is as wide as you can go between the shock and spare tire well. I measured the Walker and it's about 11.5".

Victory is mine! I've eliminated a crap ton of rattles over the last couple weeks. Some have been difficult to find, but I am very happy at this point. Just got the last one tonight...I thought my ebrake cable apply lever in the rotor hat was rattling, but it turned out to be the brake pad in the caliper.

BTW Amazon prime rules. Decided to upgrade two cars at once. Bought a new Sony head unit for the Beretta with an AUX in and red lighting to match the theme. Taking the current head unit out and putting it in the truck, which does not have any functional stereo. Also got some "Roadkill" to block more sound on the floor. It's similar to the factory stuff that was on the floor of my 95 that got thrown out because it was soaked and nasty.

Actually that roadkill mat doesn't weigh as much as I expected. Just got it in tonight, I'll see how well it works. The CSI heat/sound mat doesn't really do jack for sound. This stuff fit pretty well from the firewall to the whole front footwell. I cut out a 5x9 square for the shifter and put the square on the tunnel between the shifter & ebrake. It is a probably 3/32 mass loaded vinyl and another 1/4 or so dense foam.

I also got the new stereo in. I like the look a lot better than the one I pulled out. Blacked out my front speakers too so they blend in better. The "SS" is a classy car. Nice thing about throwing the old stereo in the truck...don't even need to rewire a connector! 88-04 GM baby.

I was always curious to what extent a modification was needed in order to make the flush radio mount work. When I bought my quaser (with orig. radio) it had a hole cut out of the heater core case behind the radio. I guess that was to heat up the amplifier......

Nice! The 3400 SS piece looks great! It sucks that MRZ performance discontinued their custom flush headunit mounts... Mine says "Z26" on it and I can't update it to the "ZR6" now lol
