Interesting approach for the quarter panel molding.

Great pics! Looks like a lot of fun, well, other than the officer who was "closer than he appeared".
The " SS" looks awesome too, congrats on the award.

Actually took my camera out the other day for some good pics. I get lazy now just using my phone...

I like how the 2-tone looks so different depending on light. In bright sunlight it's really light and really dark gray. In the shade the grays aren't too different. And then when the sun starts to go down the reflections look cool across the color break.

It's taken a long time...7 years now! But the car has really come a long way from when I first threw it together.

I mean after I "finished" it I color-matched the wheels, added the lip, 2-tone, leather, black bowtie. Just a lot of little changes that really improve the look IMO. These cars are never finished...

Had to pull her out early and DD it for a week while I fixed the clutch fork on my truck. Luckily the weather was mostly nice, 70 one day! I did have to drive through a couple hurricanes I think, but the hail was tiny and didn't hurt anything. Once the truck was done I put it in my old man's garage (its original birthplace) before the 30" of snow came.

Bought a set of Falken Azenis 615K+ on sale. Only $100/per including shipping after the mail-in rebate. Damn good deal. My Sumitomos still have some tread on them, but they are shot grip-wise.

Image

I also saw some sweet SS emblems in the Aussie hot rod mags I brought home from vacation. And since I'm a little Aussie-obsessed now I was thinking about buying a set. I can get them all matte black. The design even looks kinda 90s.

Tire Rack.

Same tires that a lot of the guys racing the Optima Ultimate Street Car series run.

That's a good deal on the tires.

I think the SS needs chrome Aussie letters... lol

Delete all the chromes.
