1989 GTU from Finland, 1 of 2?

Hey I have managed to pull 8.0l/100km (30MPG) 800km driving @ highway.

With my 3.1 + manual swap, that was with 2 persons and car full off stuff,

Usually with my mixed driving (short commuting) I get bit under 10l/100km (23MPG)

When it still was automatic, i was getting 16l/100km (14MPG) with the unplugged TCC and town driving.

Thank you guys! I have to say that it's not that clean how it looks at pics.. there's rust in doors and fenders and front lip needs to be fixed.. 3rd brake light isn't original, don't know where it's taken,but it could fit WAY more better than it does now.
The story tells that only 3 GTU was registered to Finland. White,black and red. Red one is burnt, and black is owned by my friends father i southern Finland. That's why I edited my subject to 1of 2
-I'm not 100% sure about story,but also haven't seen any other GTU's here.

Last time when I see(and drive) that red one, it was way better shape...It was cold winter -92 when we test drive that beretta at Metro auto Koskelo.
So I must tell to father that he has pretty rare car at Finland.

I got the side and rear GFX out that red car, I pulled them out of it when it was sitting @Junkyard 2004. Someone got the front lip before me, I wonder where it went.

It looked like the car was stolen and then crashed (one of the rims had massive curb damage, it wasn't even round anymore) and then set up on flames to hide the evidence.

Hello again.
I've had some issues with GTU last couple of months.. First BIG mistake was made when I decidec to let my brother drive it for few weeks! When I got it back there was broken door keys, rear bumber was bend, broken muffler, engine ran with 4-5 cylinder, etc.etc. THANK YOU!
New door locks w/ keys, oxygen sensor and spark plugs and wires from rockauto. Engine still ran by 5.. then I picked coils and icm from my 3400 part motor and.. YIPPEE-KAY-EE!! Now it runs real nice! Also bought new muffler from local part shop. After installing I realized that it's way too LOUD! It'll need another muff. I thought to put some cheap and small muff right after cat.. I'll let you know what it makes to sounds!

And muffler needs to be fitted better, went too long out

I do have barely used muffler (Dynomax DeltaFlow 50 Super I think) laying around here, has been modified to look like stock Beretta item, in case you are intersted. It did not work with my 'racing' cat very well so i took it off after week of use.

It's Rockin' again!

GTU was garaged almost three years, and now in july I decided to fix it back to the road..
Replaced both rocker panels, rear spring upper plate?, brake lines, handbrake from handle to brakeshoes, front rotors and pads, fixed Those waterleaks, new windshield.. etc etc.. But last friday got it inspected first time since -09 It's pretty nice to drive it again!
Headliner needs some attention,, it didn't like to be kept in garage. Now it's on hanging with some pins.

I dont like that sound.. inside the car it's too loud! Maybe not outside, but inside it feels like sitting in subwoofer box or something like that
