That sounds pretty good. What I planed on doing was renting a truck at home depot or menards and going to a pull it yard and just grabbing most of the stuff at once.

Does that need a kick down cable?

They didnt list a transmission. It just said If i was going to use an auto I had to grab one. Im not a trans person so I have no idea.
EDIT: After looking it up, I found out I only needed the kick down if I were to keep the 3 speed auto.

That is a good idea that could save me time, but I am already doing alot of research on this swap and could just do a little more research and still get to use plan A. I have alot of time to find this information out because I dont plan on starting to collect parts until next year when the snow starts to melt. That should give me plenty of time to solve this little problem.

I just found some GTZ wheels for 20 a piece at a local yard with a 12 dollar core (I forgot to the mention core). Going to pick them up tomorrow. I think they should look sweet body colored.
edit: The wheels were pretty beat up when I found them. I knew I was going to buy them but the yard was close to closing time so I had to stash them under a different car. I went back at noon today and they were gone along with the car I stashed them under. But there is a silver lining to this, There was a new row of GM cars. One of those cars was a 1990 gt. I have been looking for a sunroof bag since I bought this car and I just happened to find a mint one in the trunk. I grabbed it plus the clips and at checkout the guy just let me walk out because the bag was categorized so basically it was the price of admission. I will post picks later.

At LKQ (U pull it junkyard). there was a core of 12 dollars also so they basically were 32 a piece. I didnt mention the core because I have wheels in my back yard that I was going to use as a core.

Here is the sunroof bag that I got for free from a yard.
(BTW my GF took the pics using her blanket as the background and the red glare in the first pic is not actually on the bag)

I lost my job a month ago and have been looking for work ever since so the project gets put away for a while until a gain some funds. I have even went to fast food places with no luck. Its a good thing that i planned on this car being a long term project. It feels pretty good to be back online here.

Sorry to hear that you lost your job and can't find anything else. Nice to see you back though. Unskilled labor? I know how it is.

That would be my problem, not trying hard enough.
Poor old girl needs a cover, but only if it has alot of wax on it. I've seen covers freeze to the paint.

Yeah, my girlfriend found that out on my dads 05 Mustang, you can actually see it in the background before the cover went on.
