out of curiosity what did the injectors flow at?

Aw man.. I thought I'd be the first 95 5 speed Turbo.. Oh well.. Yours looks a lot nicer, but I'd be curious to which one of us would be faster ;).

lol almost melted a coolant hose the other night.. so i need to go get some heat wrap for my headers and a new coolant hose ...

need to start tuning, appears to be running a bit lean

You should have started tuning before your even driving it or running it WOT but that's just my opinion ;)

lol had to atleast try...

again, i thought chris had done some base tuning to which it would atleast be able to be driven.. whether or not that is true, is a mystery.. seriously though jon, just come tune this damn thing for me..

lol, I'd love to take a ride to Calgary but I don't even have time to work on my own car... The car I bought to strip is still 100% in one piece in my driveway!

LOL damnit!! i need to go to edmonton to get a bunch of parts off a 93 thats in the JY there, only an 88 here in calgary...

edit: just checked inventory again.. there is a 95 here in calgary!! bish is getting sTRIPPED!!

the 95 wasnt very nice.. got a new coolant hose and interior bolts/screws and new rear lower filler.. nothing great, picking up some heat wrap this weekend :D

Whoever has the stickiest tires (or a lsd) would probably win :P. I skate like crazy on dry pavement. Drove it in the rain a few days ago and I couldn't give it more than 15% throttle without breaking the tires loose.. And they're new :(. Guess I need a new DD for the winter..

Heat wrap is our friend ;). Ebay is the cheapest route to go, though the DEI stuff on summit/jegs is better. The ebay stuff works, just don't get the dyed stuff. My pipes looked great in the blue dyed heat wrap until they got warm, now they're white/blue..

Do you have a DHP to tune it with? Tuning is scary at first, but not too bad once you get the hang of it. I don't know 5% of what jon does, but I was able to lean mine out a bit without spending much time with it. (I was about 30% rich on my short term fuel trim). I'd suggest that you spend a couple hours and do a base tune off your short term fuel trim before you start melting metal components ;). Then when you get the hang of it, do a more in depth tune with a wideband.

lol i have LSD and pretty sticky tires.. i will NOT be driving this in the rain if i can help it...

Mopac has a big selection, i just called for heat wrap, $50 for 2" x 50' roll in tan or black..

Yea i have DHP Tuners and UVScan, i also have the LC-1 Wideband. what i could do is set it up so that jon could remote into the computer and tune it from his place... haha! Ive been reading up alot on tuning its just a scary undertaking.

when I first started I had no clue what LTFT an STFT meant. but now I can pretty much do anything with my motor and tranny. Read alot and get the right tuning manual! there is one that is outdated a little. Oh and get the table Modifier thingy. that will help you get close to a good tune fast.

Be careful messing only with the STFT or using it to tune... because thats an instantanious correction for the conditions right at that instant... the LTFT is much better to use since it's an average and you'll always have a STFT of some sort due to weather changes but you want to get your average down to zero, or within 2% of that in either direction. And you want no LTFT at WOT... that just messes with the fueling tables.

Unlimited data plan, tethering with a cell phone and really good cell coverage, Sure I'll remote tune... HAHA. But in all seriousness if you do have trouble or questions the most I need is a log with parameters I specify and your bin and I can do things and help out some. That's how I had a guy help me understand my Legacy tuning. He helped me figure out how the electronic boost control works and how to modify it to hold proper boost... As well as the correct target boost tables to have since that can be the root of all issues on that setup.
