Re: The GTZ's Replacement 00 GTP
So i got the new pulley on today. Was a fun time and i learned how they are replaced. Was a bit of a pain, but me and and a buddy managed alright i would say
New vs Old
Installed
And did a small test fit on the tips to see if they would clear the bumper or how much i would have to remove and guess what....
They will fit without cutting anything and without touching anything. Safe to say, these are the largest tips these bumper cutouts will support Cant wait to get it all in. Also picked up a Pacesetter catback piping kit. All i need now is mufflers and a day the muffler shop can put it all in and im golden! Or i may put it all on myself.

Re: The GTZ's Replacement 00 GTP
A couple people have told me they look to big. But i think with the car having a huge rear end, once they are installed, will look right at home
I have the mufflers ordered, they should be here by the end of the week

I agree GTP's have a huge rear end and when the mufflers are installed it is going to look good compared to the car. Kind of reminds me of the Camaro LT1.

Re: The GTZ's Replacement 00 GTP
So, since i had the day off, i made use of myself and the spare stuff i still have laying around from previous projects.
A buddy informed me that my intake was insufficient for a 3.4 pulley and that i needed to relocate the filter or box it off. Well, for me, boxing off was a bit a complicated thing. So, i moved it to the fenderwell. It looks primitive right now, but its pulling WAY cooler air than under the hood. Its just 3" black PCV pipe, but its about all i had, so for free i wasnt gonna bitch. I am going to order some 3.5" intake piping and clean it all up and make it look more uniform. Hopefully, sooner rather than later. Anyways, heres a couple pic for everyone to laugh at lol.
And an overall of the engine bay.
More coming soon!

You do have a way to tune this right? because you shouldn't just slap a 3.4 pulley on it and run with it.

Re: The GTZ's Replacement 00 GTP
You do plan to get rid of that flex pipe on the intake right?
Here is a little tid bit from the Cavy guys, they are running LS1 TB's and 4in intake pipes.
If you have the room in the fender you could put a velocity stack with a K&N on there. They do make 3.5 inch ones. http://www.bpi-us.com/kits.php#fsk35601
The stack should cut some of the charger's pumping loss.
Your stock injectors are ok with this pulley?

Stock injectors are good to 3.2 pulley anything lower I would go 42.5 injectors. And for the list of mods u have is sufficient for 3.4 pulley. Just so u know ebay has set of decent headers made by speed daddy is the seller for bout 225 shipped and will connect right to your catback exhaust. I ran them n loved the pull. Another nice compliment for the 3.4 pulley is 1.9 rockers and will net u better gas mileage.n.more upper end power.
