What's on your BFest to-do list?

Post by heavywoody »

What do you have left to do to your car before BFest 2013 in Denver, CO?

Personally... here's mine.

Install new front bumper
Install spoiler or trunk lid
Paint eggcrate grill and decide whether to rock it or not
Install new dew strips
Install new door handles/trim
Touch-up paint on hood/fenders
Finish 6x9 box installation
Reinstall rear seat, shelf, and rear sail panels
Polish filler panels/tails
Remove dog hair from back seat
Replace broken fog-light lens
Secure headlamp adjuster on passenger side
Install brake pads
Fabricate and install battery tray in trunk
Check fluids
Oil/filter change
Detail interior and exterior

How much of that are you going to save for when I come down sat or sunday night... LOL

Currently I have,

Design bolts/sleeves for lower dogbone mount
change oil filter
re-install fuel line for nitrous setup
Vac out dog hair as well...
would LOVE to Buff and wax the exterior, but I'll be lucky if it get's washed and fast waxed...
touch up paint on bumper

Oh and PACK! lol

Good luck with your lists! I'm still mad at myself for having to miss Bfest this year.. next year will have a completely different car that will hopefully stay running longer than 4 months at a time.

Maybe I'll buff and wax my car while I'm at Geoff's... The Garage-Mahal has AC that would be nice... LOL

My list of stuff to do has gotten much smaller thanks to Mr. Pride.

Still quite the list.

Replace AC hoses and recharge system.
Fix headlight switch so I have regular beams instead of just High.
Install trunk release.
Alignment
Oil Change
Touch up all the flaking paint.
Wash, Wax. Polish.

Stuff I've completed in the last 4 days!

Struts
Shocks
Balljoints
Tie Rods
Swaybar endlinks
Front Brakes
Control Arm bushings.
Starter and Solenoid
Power Steering Pump
New Tires.

Clutch is still good. Haha

I'm very interested on what you are doing with this. Not to highjack this thread, if you could PM me some details that'd be great.

As for me i can't make it to B-Fest but I got a few things in the works for my car...

New tires
New battery
Wire fog lights
Install strut bar
Switch carpets
Run new RCAs
Sound deaden under carpet
Have 3X00-Modified build and install my transmission (after b-fest of course :p )

Have a great time at B-Fest guys!

Main things:
Wire up stereo
Finish getting carpet in
Put all interior pieces back in
Get 3rd brake light wired and working
Put new registration stickers on
Install front air dam supports
Full detail

If there is time:
Trunk mod
E-36 headlight mod
GTU mirrors painted and installed

By next year:
Rust repair
5-speed swap
Full Engine Build
TGP kit installed

And that's only one of the 2 cars. Still have some odds and ends to do on it once it gets back from the upholstery shop.

Chad, I'm happy to hear that your clutch is still good... consequently, I won't be riding in your car this year! lol
