Hey yall

Post by Oki_Hero »

I'm fairly new to the Beretta closest thing I had was a cavalier back in high school. About six months ago l bought a 96 Corsica after spending this time the car was at least halfway mechanically sound I'm ready to start building although slowly as it's my daily driver. Unfortunately I have the 2.2 and while I know it's not a worth while build I still wanna have fun with it until I get out of school and can afford a 3.1 or quad 4 build. Any advice or guidence is greatly appreciated.

Welcome! Probably the best advise I have is to save up for a 92-93 GT or a GTZ to toy with. You can get good power out of the 2.2's, but you have to do alot of custom work and turbo it, which is terrible to do on a DD anyhow.

Thanks. I'm thinking about a 3500 swap or a 3400 since there seem to be a crap ton of early and mid 00's Malibu's to source form. For now I'll just tinker with what I have. I was just reading the thread about 2.2 parts and a top end build should be fun for now.
