Well its been a while since I updated.

I have been working 2 jobs this summer and picked up a 91 240sx coupe to drift at local events.

As for the burrito, the front bumper is off and being painted. It was looking really bad recently. I am also going to paint the spoiler.

I got a full set of hawk pads (front and rear) for under 50 bucks from pep boys. They no longer deal hawk so go buy there warehouses out before there gone for good, there almost giving them away. Ill probably get sets for the 240 too.

I am trying to get slotted rotors all the way around...

I have a random missfire that only happens like 2 out of 7 WOT runs. I think its a crank sensor issue.

I work at a garage again fixing cars, so I hate working on my own cars again. It sucks. But I start my new full time job in september.

I'll have to find a pep boys for my rear disc swap.

At least I'm not the only one trying to find Beretta problems!

Beretta has been seeing well over 200 miles a week now that I'm working my internship.

It eats rear wheel bearings. Replaced one, gonna replace the other soon.

Put hawk hps pads all the way around, I love them. Initial bite is not amazing, but once they heat up they bite much harder, and maintain there power until there really hot. Fade is not as bad as my greenstuffs.

I installed my MSII tonight finally. Gotta make another decent tune then put a gm idle valve back in the thing. It will make winter nice to have a car that warms itself up.

The tierods on these cars are the stupidest things ever. I am making a conversion setup for mine using inner rods from a dsm and outer ends from a caravan. It will eliminate the bushings, and bring the pivot point outwards to greatly reduce the bumpsteer that these cars have.

Then ill be renting a alignment rack to dial it in finally. Things are so out of hand right now with the rear disk swap, a bad bearing, bad tierod bushings, and the front end being apart 100 times.

Hell maybe ill put a turbo on it too while im at it

How are you eating rear wheel bearings? Mine are still factory ones... and I swapped to rear disc in 08. Granted I'm not doing 200 miles a day, but on the red car with the vette setup that held up great too. I did that swap in 2006 had ONE set of bearings made and NEVER had to swap them out... they are still on it and I just retired the car this summer.

Whats your wheel offset? 35 or lower? A very low offset will cause the bearing to go out more often.

Just bad luck I think or too much hard driving. Offset is 37 I think.

And my cheap ass bough cheap bearings last time. I think they were 50 bucks a piece. I only got 11 thousand miles out of it.

You get what you pay for with china crap

Yeah that could be it too... My rims are 40mm offset and IIRC stock is 42, so I'm pretty close but could sill be straining them... Especially on the front since I have the wheel spacers as well due to the brake change.

Barry what else do you have from a 3500?

I really do not know if I want to build my 3500 block that I have, or build my 3400 from the red car...

I'm missing the squirter, crank and rods to start something with the block... I have the pan and caps IIRC...

Barry is within driving distance, I don't even want to think what it would cost to ship those parts to me.
