Exactly. Wisconsin is one of those states. The Department of Natural Resources logs and maintains a database of all junked cars in the state. Once its junked, its junked.

Now if a junkyard pays cash for a vehicle and they decide to sell it before its logged, that's a different story.

I've seen a lot of vehicles get sold off in this state Chad. I think that they just keep that one off the books or tell the state it went to the crusher

Worst junkyard if you asked me that car is 1 of 23 course they don't give a crap, it's a 5 speed yellow Indy and the bastards won't sell it, some people make me sick when they take rare cars like these to the graveyard

Several years ago I pulled some neat parts off of an 87. Multi color insturment cluster now residing in the GTZ, hydraulic hood lifts, and a few other unique random bits.
A 2 tone beretta sticks out, burnt gold and baby poo brown. Yet another rarity/oddity off to recycle
