Post by jeff540 »

New Ringold Pa. great set of indy seats front and back, embroidered INDY on the headrests front and rear, grey with yellow stripe.

I grabbed the rear gabriel gas shocks from the rear for 5.00 each.like new, will they fit my 95 Z26?

Note this difference between shocks for pre 95 cars... Info from the thread about Koni and Blistein shocks

So for a 95-96 fitment you will have a shock that is 2.8" longer at full extension, and 1.26" longer at full compression... I'm still unsure of what length you NEED to ensure you do not bottom out the shock before the factory bump stops, I will verify that when I work on my Blistein install.

I'd say no. That is how model years usually work, my GTU was built mid 88 but it is an 1989 model. If you notice you can usually buy, say, a 2013 model in 2012.

All mounts are the same.

So the shocks changed because they moved the springs?

just did a search on gabriels website, they are saying what 3XXX said about lengths being different, also says mounts are different. upper S29 is the same, ES2 bottom is not the same,on my 95 bottom is ES24.

my rear shocks are originals with holes in them, sure wish these would have worked,oh well, they were only 10.00 for the pair. I could try to recoup on craigslist.

They are still there, for how long i don't know, buckets go for 10.00 each, rear bench is 20.00.so for 40.00 you can have some very nice seats with minimal clean-up,they did not look worn anywhere, Driver's side only needed some cleaning.

The car had alot of very usable parts, even the engine was still there,3.1L.
All i could find was one factory wheel with good tire, before i grabbed the shocks,it was holding the whole ass end up,so be carefull don't go pulling that wheel out,the car will fall.happened to me,when i gave it a yank.

surprised to find two black rose Z26's.wish i knew what my Z26 will be needing next.I was only visiting from Tn.only could find base models down here.

speedy? you got your hands full with all the beretta's up there, more showing up all the time.

3X00-Modified? maybe you can look into why everytime someone types a whole paragraph,IS LOGGED IN,and the post disappears,it is like the beretta website is timing out.sometimes even cutting, copying, don't even work, very annoying to say the least.

Check off the box that says log me in automatically... Yes the board times out... there is a 15min timeout period on the quick reply boxes and also main composition boxes... so if you think you've been typing for longer than 15min copy what you wrote click submit and if it doesn't work then paste what you had back in and resubmit... but typically if you hit the box time out it only says "the form you submitted is invalid" and saves what you wrote and allows you to resubmit... if your being brought back to the log in page then its because your session is timing out, checking off the auto login box will stop that from happening.
