SORRY ABOUT THE TITLE
I MEANY FUEL INJECTORS

I have narrowed down my problems, and everything is leading to a dirty fuel rail, and injectors.
I have talked to a few people, and they seem to think teh same thing, as I guess these rails have been known to really cake up after 125,000 miles (which makes sense to me)
I am looking for advice on cleaning them.
I have heard the following things:
1) use Sea Foam injector cleaner in the tank
2) have it machine cleaned while still in the car.  I guess they bypass the fuel tank, and run this machine through the system, flushing it out
3) remove the injectors, and take them somewhere to be sent in to be cleaned

I was wondering if anyone has done any of these, and if so, what kind of a difference has this made for you?

Sorry to be so long, but thanks for the replies in advance!

Go to a decent garage and they will hook up a can of injector cleaner for you under the hood, the car need about 10 minutes to run and it's done (when the can is empty the car will stall, since it's running on can juice not fuel from your tank).

Used to do it once a year on my old car. Can't tell if it helped or not, but never had dirty injector related problem for 10 years I owned it.

save yourself some money and take your fuel rails off yourself and clean them out...it only takes about 20 mins to get off your fuel rails...it's not that hard...if you don't want to mess with that...just put on a new fuel filter and add some seafoam

Have your mechanic run an IV though it, and use a can of Sea Foam.  I use a can every few thousand miles, its better than fuel system cleaner.

I got a can of the sea foam stuff, and got it in there.
Hope it helps.  If not, I'll have to take it in, and have it IV'd.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

I saw a how-to show long time ago. They disconnected the fuel line, then screwed this aerosol can onto the rail, then started the car. The can contailed fuel and a cleaner. They let it run till it died. Then reconnected the fuel line.

I recommend a machine called Motorvac Carbon Clean. I have one of these and it works great. However, these injectors have a high failure rate. Check out www.lindertech.com. You can buy a set of reconditioned Multec's or buy a set of Bosch injectors for the price of a couple from the parts stores.

Techron, best thing to use. And its not hard on your fuel system like gumout, prestone, or any of the cheap fuel injector cleaners you usually see and you dont have to use it every other tank of gas.one bottle, one time.

I really dont hear a lot of injector being dirty problems.
And if they are then you def. need to change your inline fuel filter.   But what is your problem?

And really if you want an easy clean just use STP. Easy simple.

Really guest just get register makes it a lot better.

ive never had an injector prob with any of mine (see sig lol). every one of them had 100k+ on them. if you really have tried all the options then i would just take it to a decent shop and have the injectors checked and cleaned.
