Beretta.net Committee Changes effective 11/26/12
So after some soul searching, discussion, and lack of interest in the elected positions for the Beretta.net Committee, the following changes will be put in place for the 2013 season and beyond.
First, effective immediately, Amanda Pride has decided to resign as our group's treasurer. With a majority vote of the permanent officials of our committee, it was decided that the treasurer's responsibilities would be taken over by the chairman going forward. This move made it possible to keep the same number of permanent positions, while consolidating work that I was already doing over the past few years.
Second, to fill the spot vacated by Amanda and to integrate more of the day to day functions of our community, Jon Chmura was asked to step into the new position of Message Board Liason. This position will be permanent, and will remain Jon's until a time comes where he decides to step down or extraneous circumstances dictate a need for removal. This means that there are still 4 permanent committee officials, and 3 elected officials.
Third, to address the lack of participation in elections Chad Michels and Pat Boutwell, who were the only nominated and seconded electees, will automatically be on the committee for 2013. To fill out the last remaining elected spot, Paul Keller was asked in special consideration to return to the committee for 2013 and he accepted.
What does this mean?
The committee will look like this:
Mike Pride - Chairman
Will Hathaway - Webmaster
Cliff Scott - Registrar
Jon Chmura - Board Liason
Chad Michels - Elected Official
Pat Boutwell - Elected Official
Paul Keller - Elected Official

There has already been work done for both BerettaFest 2013, and some improvements to Beretta.net that we are looking to launch by the New Year and we will continue to work on this to improve our community's experience and make BerettaFest 2013 be even better than ever.
