215's on 14" rim

Post by Guest »

I was looking at getting some 215/60's to replace my 195/70's on my 14" rim base. Will these rub on the strut tower, or anywhere else? Thanks

I had 215's on my 14 inch rims on my old 88 CL.  I never had any rubbing problems.

How about 225/60's? will they rub? are they the same diameter as 195/70's?

the diameter of the 225/60 is just a little bit smaller(by like 3mm or something) aspect ratio would be out by .5%.  can't tell you if the would fit or not though

Hey thanks! I'm trying to keep the anti-lock from going haywire. That should be close enough to avoid any problems.
