Ok, I saw both of these on eBay.  The first ones are the rims I REALLY REALLY WANT for my beretta.  Does anyone have these or have seen these on a beretta before?  Would they fit (i.e. lug nut holes match up)?

Crome Cavalier Rims

These next ones, I am not sure how they would look (I still have to photo shop them onto my car) but i like them b/c they look like the set above, only not crome, and they are 17".  Would they fit (i.e. lug nut holes match up)?

Yes the Cavalier Rims will fit just like your Z26 wheels.  No the Camaro Rims will not fit.  Wrong offset, and size.

Well, $700 is a lot to me, however, for these rims it is a GREAT price.  I wrote the Berger Chevrolet Dealership Parts Department an email asking about the Cavalier rims (price that is.)  They said the set of rims + center caps + set of lugs costs, get this, $2400!  Could that be right?

Yes thats is pry right, but those are new GM rims. They are just that way. You would be better of finding a set of factory rims in a junkyard or ebay, like you did. You might be able to find them in junkyard cheaper.

Do you know how much shipping costs?  For a rim ONLY, it's $25->$40 PER RIM.  For a rim and tire it will depend a lot on how far away you are.  Figure a *min* of $30 per tire/rim.  Up to $60 per tire/rim.

I laugh when people buy/sell stang "10 hole" rims on ebay.  You can get them dirt cheap at swap meets and junk yards.  There are about 3.234 ZILLION junkyards that have PILES of Very Good "10 hole" rims and they will even ship parts to anywhere in the US.

Still, if it's a hard to find part or if you don't have time, then ebay is good.  I got a set of 2 16" Olds *Refin* rims (look like NEW) on ebay for a great price!

Don't forget, diff rims weigh diff amounts.  That affects the shipping costs.

I shipped my Z26 rims for a total of less than $50, that was probably right at 100 lbs

Yea, it depends a lot on rim weight and the distance.  It's cheaper to ship two packages -"one package at 60 lbs and one package at 20lbs", then to ship 4 separate packages.  The problem with a tire/rim combo is that they almost always need to be shipped as "one package per tire/rim combo".

The best swap meet near me is huge.  So, if you find something, like a tire/rim combo, it's about a 10+ min walk back to the car (then 10+ mins back to where you where in the swap meet).  When I switched from 4lug to 5 lug on my stang, I wanted just tires and rims for the car to use while it sat in the winter (stangs SUCK in the snow&#33.  I didn't find anything good at the swap meet (that I was willing to haul and spend the time on), so I just waited and got a good deal on ebay on a set of rims that I liked that had tires (with little tread left (~25%), but I didn't care).  The seller was also on the East coast, so the shipping wasn't that bad.

So... it all depends on a number of things.

Why getting wheels from a CAVY?? It looks small especially for a 16incher.  And Is it just me or does it look alot like a modified version of the KMC wheel Suicide
