Why did the gas cap style change?
lol
My off white one is quite a bit different than the black one I saw on a 95 corsicar at the junkyard....just wondering why they would change?

your computer want to see pressure in the gas tank. the original caps leaked presure and would cause a check engine light.
they recalled the caps and replaced them free of charge to fix the check engine light problem. you could also replace it yourself when you finally get a check engine light over it.
isnt that a pretty lame reason to get a check light?

I have a black gas cap that came stock, and I have a 91..... :rock:

I have a red one that came stock....... 91 also
