Freeze plug removal

How the heck do you remove the freeze plugs on a v6? I can take the ones out of a v8 without any troubles but on a v6 they hit the back of the cylinder wall when removing them. I want to remove them because im having the block hot tanked at school.

Same way as the v8, and with the 6 you flip them side ways, and and pry them out.

Push one side in and then grab the other side with vise grips.

When they put stuff in HOT liquid that strip off ALL the gunk and everything else. It eats away just about everthing except metal.
