I wouldn't trust any intakes like that from eBay. It's kinda the same as getting those universal intakes from Autozone. The filter element is kinda shitty.

if you get the one on ebay and put a good quality cone filter, it would 100% do what you need

I have one similar to that one that I just installed on my daughter's car today. The hole in the pipe is for the sensor but what do you do with the thin bent plastic pipe that comes from the back of the engine? When I leave it off, I see a little oil smoke after running for a few minutes. Should I just plug the hole in the back?

Thats a valve cover engine vent for emissions reasons... I wouldn't plug it, but I would definately put some sort a filter on it. You don't want it open to the elements because then stuff can get in your engine. You can also drill another hole and put another grommet on and attach that pipe to the intake like it is on stock, that burns those vapors, and keeps that opening to the motor behind a filter.

Make your own.

Pipe kit
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-5-INCH ... ccessories

K&N has tons of filters you can choose from. Mine was $35-$45 shipped.

It is under $100 and you can do it any way you want. A lot of people go through the hole behind the battery but you can do what ever set up you want with the pipe kit.

You could probably do a friend or two cars with the extra piping and cut on the cost.

WOW! That pipe kit blows away the pricing I get direct form a distributor!!!

It says that they are anodized aluminum too... Mine are T1 airecraft aluminum, not sure of any difference... Can anyone explain the difference if any??

I just might have to buy these kits to make my intakes. It will drop the price A LOT!
