Tach dancing around?
Tach dancing around?
My 94 Sunbird has a tach dancing up and down at random. Nothing else seems affected.
Has anyone here had this issue on a Beretta/Corsica/Cavalier/sunbird or know someone who might have had this issue?
3.1 v6 auto 3 spd. Same configuration as the OBD1 berettas/corsicas with 3.1 v6 auto under the hood although the gauge cluster is different.
In park and revving its not happening but driving forwards I see it happening to the tach now and then. Smooth or bumpy roads doesn't seem to make a difference.
Its not an issue for drivability but I do like knowing my rpm's.

I will take it out and clean the contacts for fun. Its intermintant and doesn't always happen so I hope it's that easy. lolGodlike wrote:I've had a tach do that when the Guage cluster wasn't seated properly
