First post from my new house!

Post by woody90gtz »

Just got the computer hooked up. I closed on the house yesterday at noon and already hauled 95% of my stuff over here...It's raining all weekend so I figured I'd get it to the house and unpack it all while the weather is crappy. Here are some pics I took yesterday and a few today before we started unpacking.

Moved my new compressor in to the garage first! Picked up a 220v 80gal. Then I got the cars over and moved in the rest of our crap. Dozer didnt like living at our rented house all full of boxes...

Notice the paint can in the last pic? Changing that room from "raspberry" to gray this week!

I told Tiffany we could knock out that wall and make it a 5-car...I'd just have to put the kitchen in the basement. No big deal. haha

Awesome! Congrats!!! Heck I'd let my kitchen be anywhere in the house if it meant a bigger garage.., doesn't a garage need it's own kitchen? Or at least fridge/bar? ;) I have my dream garage all planned out.. probably won't ever happen, but never hurts to dream! Good luck settling into the house,..hows the dog like it? :)

The dogs love it. I should grab a few shots now that we are settled in. Well...except for the raspberry bedroom-that's still a disaster area. We really need to paint it and move in the new bed.

I still haven't hooked up my air compressor or built a work bench or insulated the ceiling or...you get the point.

Ah... the fun of owning a home...

My shop looks like a friken disaster right now... motors, transmission, turbos, parts, EVERYWHERE... I never get time to clean. Hopefully after this wedding stuff is all planned/done I'll get some time to do stuff around the house. I think since I will not be tearing into the engine this winter, that the shop will receive a large cleaning/organizing session.

Yeah, I need to quit fucking around with the cars and organize. Although I know I'm running a new fuel system in the Camaro and maybe even EFI if everything works out! muhahahahah

God do NOT get a ez-efi setup from FAST... if its as bad as their dual wide-band system then you dont even want to look at it.

Actually what I was originally planning on was their EZ-EFI throttle body controlled by a GM OBDI computer. All the sensors are GM and it could be done, but from what the experts on thirdgen.org tell me a batch-fire OBDI ECM will be a problem with only 4 injectors under the throttle blades. You'll get rich & lean cylinders because the first valve to open steals most of the fuel. Factory OBDI TBI injectors are above the throttle blades (blocking airflow) but it allows the fuel to be distributed properly. So I'm thinking about drilling my carb intake for a Edelbrock fuel rails air-only 4150 throttle body and MPFI. With port injectors the batch fire is not a problem, and I can piece together my own kit for about the same price as the FAST throttle body:

So here we are a couple crazy months later and I have some new pics. Haven't gotten nearly as much done yet as I expected to! Still need to do the roof, organize the garage and now Tiffany wants more cabinets and a new bathroom floor...(who puts laminate in the bathroom anyway? that was dumb). The pink is gone though! And we're all settled in with the furniture situation figured out too. The dogs like it! haha
