any body good with small electronics repair?

Post by themadness »

i have a droid phone that the screen stopped responding to touch. the keyboard works but the screen doesnt. i was going to sell it to a local electronics shop but they didnt really want it. i think it may need a digitizer or screen but i'm not sure. all the repair shops want 100 bucks to fix it but i dont plan on paying that since i already have a phone. i only paid 3 bucks for it and was hoping to fix it to use as a mini tablet.

second note...i have tried the battery pull and hard reset to see if it was a soft ware issue but no go.

any ideas?

Look up a video online on how to dismantle it. Take it apart and rebuild it and see if it works. If you only paid $3 and you have a working phone to use why not.
