This car confuses me

More likely, it was a base that was then converted to a GTZ. It has been done way more often than the reverse. lol

Or is there any chance they were built that way? Strange is a word I would use here.

What amazes me is if they did convert a base they did an incredible job because of the interior and the cluster as well.

Nada, all 90 GTZ's were quad 4 5 speeds.

That's sweet! It even has the GTZs leather steering wheel and what looks to be "Beretta GTZ" dash badge.. its almost making me think somebody swapped the whole drivetrain...

The "shift plate" on the center console doesn't match. I bet they got sick of the Quad 4 and swapped in the 2.0/2.2 (you never know what it actually is) drivetrain

yeah they likely got sick of the quad and swapped in the cheaper drivetrain... should have at least kept it stick shift... wounder in the clutch pedal's still there! ;P

If that was an original Quad 4 car, wouldn't it have "Premium Fuel Recommended" on the cluster, not "Unleaded Fuel Only"? That would mean the cluster has been swapped, and the mileage is most likely incorrect. Maybe it's accurate to the engine and trans, as they could have taken it out of the same car, but who knows what is acctually on the body.
