Good find, I saw that too and was like, WTF why did they paint over the tag??

Oh no lol, I would still love to have that car, I just didn't notice in the sale info that it was partially repainted, I thought it was all original paint. I don't really care too much about things like that, I think something like this is much neater than a restored car.

Ummm, yeah... Go outside and look at your car! lol They started to paint over them in the 70's, but NOT that thick as the picture shows. They were still easily legible.
