Never seen these graphics before. The only one like it that I could find was this one.

For all I know, its the same car. Is this a special indy? It's got "indy" in the the taillights...kinda cool.

The one on Ebay has the correct mirrors. The one in the post does not.
But they both have Z04 kits?
Weird

I'm of the opinion it is the same car and someone did a not bad job at one point to "make" an Indy; perhaps even using a parts car to get the seats, wheels and dash?
Kinda weird eh?

The one in the link is the same one in the picture, and the only way to know is the vin, isn't hard to put a z04 kit on an indy, perhaps someone liked the z04 gfx better or got tired of looking for a lip.

looks like a GTU rear spoiler and not INDY ground fx.

I recall the guy that my buddy bought an Indy from in Missouri (can't remember his actual name or old user name for the life of me) talked or showed pictures of another Indy he had at some point that had Z04 GFX on it, when we went to pick up the Indy he was selling. Unfortunately this was in 2005 so my memory of it is quite foggy.

That being said, those decals just look awkward compared to the standard set.

Given the fact that it has the yellow window trim, and the correct side mouldings, I'm going to say Z04 swapped indy. I'd be a bit more sure if there was a picture of the door jambs/engine bay/under a piece of interior trim to see if it was truly yellow.

if somebody could get the VIN, it could be run through compnine to see if it's legit or not.

It's the graphics that made me wonder what the hell it was. I would have thout it as a homemade job until I found the second picture of a somewhat nicer "indy" with the same decals. I wonder if it was offered somewhere from a now defunct supplier.

I thought it was some weird prototype graphic or something. It looks like an older style like other older pace cars. It probably is the same car. The decals are positioned in the exact same places on both doors. I didn't even notice the z04 kit to be honest.

I like what they did with the taillights, it looks like the correct font as well.

If we could get the VIN# from this car and run it through Compnine, it would tell us if by some odd chance it has the Z04 RPO.
