My thoughts exactly....I've been around long enough to remember that member. In the ad it states contact is Casey....... car has probably been passed around.

Waiting for some pics to see the condition of the car. If I like what I see....definately driving to pick it up. Ill offer 2500 and go from there.

I remember him stating he had walked a modded Lightning or something like that.....

I'M EXCITED!!!! :D

Does anyone have the number anymore?I lost it awhile ago and was trying to figure out how to get the car. Unless someone bought it by now which would be good as well.

I found it again and he still had it so quad4z26 never ended up getting it. So I ended up buying it, now I need to get the tune figured out for where I live. The car has a lot of power as it sits but idles very rich and could run/idle much better.

I will get some when its nice out of it, I assume you guys want engine bay shots mostly? The rest of the car needs parts and peices but the important stuff is there.

And ya I did get it figured out, I put new injectors in it and got super dave to make a new chip it runs pretty good now. The one thing that still sucks about the gtu is I need too go through all the wiring the digi dash is kind of a pain. But thats what happens when you buy someone elses project. It works for me though I am happy with both.

This can't be ricky's old car because his was OBDII not OBDI where you can do a chip. His was a 96 Z26.

Ya the 96 is Rickys old car and it actully started life out as a base from what I can tell. The 88 is obd1 like you said though, I have talked to Ricky a bit over the last week about it. But the car does have another computer now, it has a 97 monte pcm which is supported by hp tuners because Casey the guy who bought it from Ricky, swapped them for that purpose. So I believe I will just save money until I can afford to buy the hp tuner setup.
