Car has been running perfect no issues at all!!! Then I decide to finally install the custom t-mount (thanks summitbalt08). I drilled the bottom and all went in no problem.

After a day or two my SES came on, P0134.

Sensor looks bent, works when it wants to. Any short sensors out there? BTW, im running Grand Am 3400 exhaust manifolds.

I took a look and found this....

What did it hit? Was that a solid trans mount that you put in?

Aside from swapping manifold, or going down stream heated, you're fresh outta luck.

Its hitting the steering arms.

Ill make time and take it to the muffler shop and weld in a new bung where it won't interfere with nothing. (Only thing I can think of)

Yeah the Beretta stock location is on the crossover inlet so its not directly on top of the manifold and with the 1" movement necessary for a 5-speed alignment you loose valuable space back there. I never had a problem with my 3400 manifolds and the auto.

For the record, I'm running factory 3100 manifolds on my 3400 5spd w/ a custom T with no issues on the O2 sensor.

Headers will fix that. So will a snail.

I was just letting him know that factory stuff works with the modified T. Genius.

Would it matter if I have the muffler shop weld in a new bung on the downpipe right where it connects to the manifold?

Would my O2 readings change?

If there are no leaks it should be just grand.

Just so you are aware there is a shorter O2 sensor that would probably work, in fact I have one on my GTP, its made by denso for C5 vettes, downstream, you will likely have to re-pin it but that's not overly difficult. It's .75" shorter IIRC.
