Indy/GTU Centercaps

So unless you have been under my ex-wives rock for the last year you know I have been looking for a set of Indy/GTU wheels for my beautiful, California MINT GTZ.

Found a set. :Yahoo!:

Now I find these wheels just a little too plain so I'm looking for ideas.

I did have a polished set on my 3500 '92 GT with the Corvette closed flags engraved on them. Very nice but already done.

So I'm open to any and all sensible ideas. It's not cheap to engrave these things because they are not flat, and need to be machined, engraved and then re-polished.

Some of my ideas are the "Cars and Concepts" logo. (Yes they are long gone but so are our cars). The IMSA logo. Maybe "W-41".

What would you put on your perfect GTZ!

BTW the car, as if you didn't know, is Semi-pearl white.

All intelligent ideas welcome, and if your idea is used, you get $25 in your PayPal account!

Cheers Folks

No ideas for what to engrave.
However, check out laser engraving, a lot less expensive.

I've thought about a good logo for the Beretta for a while now... I thought the crossed flags were good, since it's not just used for Corvette, (think muscle cars with the crossed flag engine badges) W-41 doesn't really make sense to anyone outside of our own GM FWD universe though, LOL.

I've thought that perhaps the suspension package "Z-51" or "Z04" for the GTZ/Z26 would work too. People can relate to the "Z" prefix being a more performance oriented package. I'll make a few samples.

Most do that because they are running a corvette engine.

And FE7 would be suspension package for the GTZ... I don't think there was anything Z related in the RPO codes regarding handling, Only Z04 GFX. Z51 was a one off type setup that no GTZ or Z26 came with, just some lonely GT's.

Z04 isn't really directly relating to the appearance package alone. It's a model conversion RPO, similar many other "Z" codes whether they're badged as such or not.

3x00, I would agree for the most part, but what about impalas with 409s? There never was a factory 409 Corvette so I would assume the crossed flags was simply a performance indicator.
You misunderstand what I meant with the option codes... I should have written it like this; Z51 if you have that suspension option or Z04 if you have a GTZ or Z26 indicating the Z04 body kit.
FE7 would be good, I used to have a strut bar with that option code stylized on it. I thought it looked good. I'm still going to post those samples when I get a moment.

What I found when looking it up... Seems it was widely used in the past but not so much in my years and is now being brought back some.
