Oil pressure gauge not working
Turn key on it flashes, start the engine it flashes!! I have checked like 90% of the wires under the hood they seem fine.. Can anybody tell me how I can check the sensor leads with a volt meter?

Re: Oil pressure gauge not working
First thing you should do is confirm you have oil pressure with a mechanical gauge.

Re: Oil pressure gauge not working
I'm going to grab a pressure tester today, I'm still sure it is the wiring considering this engine has roughly 6-8000k on it. I cant seem to find a wiring diagram for the 3 pin sensor, anyone have one?
What is good pressure range for these motors at idle? I know it raises with rpms.
I also found 2 wires (dash board wiring harness) that are cut and I cant find where they go. I don't want to put my new dash in until I fix this last thing.

I like the blue lighting on your gauge cluster.
I'd change the cluster to blue on the mint one but I'm keeping the car original.
