Did I mention I wanted to add 3" exhaust? Back to the drawing board, I am not willing to hack up the engine to accomplish this, the better alternative will be to put the turbo @ -
The clearance really blows (no pun intended...lol)

No current projects.  No time.

I have to fix my exhaust manifold leak at the head before I can drive anywhere.  I went drag racing with the wagon this last friday.

i say go blowthrough.. speakign of which.. want to sell any of those 3 inch MAF's?  preferably cheap, that way i got more incentive to buy a MAF-T for my DSM.. and a UICP ( upper intercooler pipe for those that don't know).

my DSM.. the ongoing ressurection Saga, ressurected in april, died same weekend, resurrected last night, died same night, new mods going in? dual valve springs!!!.. already put on big 16G since the 14B died... anyways! Nocutt, GO BLOW THRU!  throttle response and certain driveability bonuses.. also, log and save what you get from the first run and tune form there, make sure that as many variables are removed as possible, IE engine temp, engine bay temp, intake temp pre turbo, and post turbo, in other words, get that exhuast hot and tune for that.

Oh, by the way, someone mentioned runnign rich till the motor knocked.. um.. you detonate from a lean NOT RICH mixture.. pending on octane, if low octane you det regardless, also, too rich of a fuel adjustment, and you can actually drown out your spark, vastly reducing power in both HP and TQ, plus your comp will yell at you with misfire codes..

Boost is addictive, more boost is more addictive
90 TSI FWD: will get fixed someday.. maybe..
86 conquest TSi: The new toy,  boosted RWD is fun.. till you snap lug nut studs although no 1st gear kinda SUCKS!
95 Beretta Z26: i don't think i'll ever get rid of this thing, i've tried already.

TG tomorrow IF   going to work on the car some more...

Z26er  I did not not know the DSM's use (MAF)Frequency as data for the ECM? anyhowz email me and let me know how much you want to spend...I am holding out big time on this MAF issue...If I have to run blow-thru then I would have to get rid of the auxillary fuel injectors...because the MAF will be very close to the throttlebody to make use of the physical dimension...it avoids me stepping up and down on the charge pipes...my relative swears by the MAFless config. (LS1)...

Also you can get knock from too much fuel...called a rich- knock...

Where I come from, we call that "dieseling".
Well, with carburetors anyway...

'03 fuel rail, since '04 uses a returnless fuel system...I use braided lines therefore fittings were welded on rail...

After my buddy's unfortunate accident, intercooler brackets were literally bent out of shape...I fab'd two new pieces and then repainted the radiator support...

still trying to button up loose ends and then tackle the plumbing for fluids...
on a side note...I have completed the front suspension unfortunately at the last minute, I noticed a puntured boot for the Lower ball joint; will be replacing that sometime this week as time permits....finals in two weeks and several papers to complete

here enjoy...
