I like the weight reduction of Lexan.  Just don't know how the ice scrapper will take to it?!  Split window would be cool too.  You guys don't think I have enough on my hands?

Rib, tell Rolf that you increase tire width and add suspension goodies.  Maybe he'll un-torque manage the lower gears.  Mine was fast, C5 fast, after 100 MPH.  But below that in 3rd/4th gears they are detuned for traction and to protect the tranny.  If at 80 with the tune just keep it in 5th.

Wow, I hadn't heard of Lexan before but that looks promising.  It says that it weighs 51% of what auto glass does.  Anyone know what a windshield and rear window weigh from a Beretta?  Depending on the cost that might be a worthwhile investment.

Hmmm, I need a new windshield anyway.... very interesting.

Yeah, 1st gear is pretty crippled.  I have an SMBC which netted less lag in 2nd.  The car breaks the tires loose in the dry at WOT in 2nd at 45mph, so I dont know how much good more power will do.

I need an LSD and a spec stage 2/3 to handle REAL power in the lower gears.

3rd gear, being unlimited is my roll on gear, it goes from 2500rpm at about 50mph to 102 at redline.

Thanks for the tip though, I will see if they can do that without it being a "custom tune" which adds quite a bit to the price.  You have to remember pistons are the weak point, so I am going conservative and not going past 300whp.  After I go boom with the pistons, THEN I can crazy.

Sorry for the hijack :P

A few pics of the firewall, floor, and dash.  The firewall and floor, balsa wood and all, will probably be lowered 2" more inches from the pictures.  I had to cut it in half to fit past the Beretta's doors.  The insturment panel's width can be seen in the smaller Beretta.

You should just weld the pry bar in the picture onto the shifter and go. It looks sweet in the pics and everyone with their 6 inchers would be jealous of your footlong.

I'm sooo loving this.  Especially pic 001 looking out at the dash and threw the windsheild.  You're really doing it Norm, I'm soooo going to have to hump this car when you aren't looking.

The 120 MPH speedo was not adequate when it was a normally aspirated V6.  . With the new setup the old Beretta's speedo needle would be useless at the end of four of six gears.

How fast do you expect to be going in the "daily driver?"
