let me add...
I am running aspalt circle tracks. Those little v-tecs and other 16 valve cars are killing me.
Lighter plus more horsepower, adds to to not much luck for the Beretta

I ran a custom chip for a couple of years.  I doubt they would have any way of knowing.  It should be worth 5-8whp and a higher redline and require a better grade of fuel.  Stay away from Jet or hypertech, they wont do anything.  Get a chip from Ben on 60degreeV6, he knows how to tune MPFI's really well.

You'd have better luck going to http://www.60degreev6.com and looking at the store... if you don't see what you want there, register on the forum and contact ben (SappySE107 or something like that).

You can also use a 3.4 stroker kit which will physically look like a 3.1.  Then with a cam and chip that should give you a substantial gain in power over stock, like 30-40hp.  Add a ported and polished top end with upgraded springs and retainers and you are at 50+hp.
