Z26 is FE3, and that's the best you can get for a 95-96. I vaguely remember talk of a 66-98 GAGT rear axle swap that was supposed to be an upgrade, but I don't know the details.
I did a search a car-part.com for 95" beretta FE3 rear axle beam and it shows a bunch of 95" grand am rear axle beams mixed in, are they the same?

Not sure what years GA fit (if any, but ALOT of components are the same from N-bodied GAs to out L-body Berettas/Corsicas/Tempests, so I think some years should)... I would think '92-98 would interchange with some year Berettas, but IDK which years are early-style, which years are later-style, and even '91 and earlier GAs might match early-style Berettas...

BUT, (and here is the good news) if you can salvage your rear sway-bar (it is a basically straight rod bolted inside the upside-down 'V' formed by the lateral (side-to-side) part of your rear axle), you can use it and your springs and shocks, the axle itself should be the same for any RPO code late-style axle, meaning that you DON'T need to find another Z-26 or "FE3" car...

I hope that helps.

Not for a 95+ z26... the stock internal bar is welded into the rear axle. Trust me I have one.

If anyone remembers Pete Sprenger (he had a green/gray base, Z04 converted, was the first to put Z34 hood vents in, and autocrossed it...

Anyways, I remember him swapping a Grand Am rear axle in because the internal bar was supposedly a little bigger. I can't remember what year he used; I want to say it was a 95.

You know, I don't think I ever actually looked at the rear sway of my '95 Z-26... :sorry: Sorry. I know I've been under the car a few times (I had to swap the fuel-pump since my niece kept running the car out of gas (the gauge read a little higher than what it actually had, so 'fumes' read just under 1/8 tank -so it isn't entirely her fault, but that shouldn't be a really steep learning-curve :pardon: ), and of course I had to find out if the car was a boy or a girl...
But Slinky, if you have a Z51 piggy-back anyway, you are already 80-90% of the way there.

...Fixed the lines for the air-shocks on the 'new' '88 Camaro... I needed these a few months ago when I was towing a car cross-country with it, but at least I can punk-hotrodder lift the back of my car now. :D

...Also finally looked at my old long-frame jack (not 'my ride', but this is very car related). The hydraulic piston plunger-cup is shot, the O-ring is chewed, and the spring for the check-valve ball is crumpled and broken. This in addition to one of two handle-return springs being broken... Since I am tired of it leaking on the ground, it has been retired until I can replace the packings and fix the check-valve. :(

Made a CAI for my 93 Quasar Quad :Yahoo!: It is an amazing difference how the car runs, I think the W-41 cams like the good air!

I'd bet it's very happy. I sure don't like the stock system and I'm sure the engine felt the same way.
Were you able to get the IAT on that CAI?

My quad doesn't have a IAT in the intake tube, I'm pretty sure its in the intake manifold :good:
